By using octidev.com, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't, please don't use the site. Project engagements have their own written contract that governs scope, fees, and delivery — these Terms only cover the website itself.
You agree not to:
- Probe, scrape, scan, reverse-engineer, or stress-test the site or its APIs without written permission.
- Send the AI chatbot abusive, illegal, or misleading content, or attempt prompt-injection / jailbreak attacks.
- Use any part of the site to scrape data on our team, clients, or other visitors.
We reserve the right to rate-limit, block, or refuse service for any abuse.
The Octidev brand, logo, copy, design, and source code on this website are owned by Octidev Ltd. You may not copy, redistribute, or repurpose them without our written permission.
Project work is different. When we deliver code or design for a paying client, we transfer 100% IP rights on payment. The exact terms are spelled out in your project contract.
A signed project contract — not these Terms, not the chatbot, not an email — is what binds us to deliver work. The contract covers scope, milestones, fees, IP transfer, confidentiality, and termination.
Any pricing, timeline, or service description on this site or from the AI assistant is a good-faith range, not an offer. The actual quote is what we put in your written scoping doc within 48 hours of an intro call.
We aim to reply to inquiries within four business hours during EST overlap. The AI chatbot is available around the clock for general questions and scoping, but it's not a substitute for a human conversation, and it can be wrong. When in doubt, ask us directly at contact@octidev.com.
Project fees are billed under the milestones defined in your contract — typically a deposit on signing, a milestone payment at design / mid-build, and a final payment on delivery.
Scope changes happen. We capture them in writing as a change order before any new work starts, so there's never a surprise on either side.
The website is provided “as is”. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content (including AI-generated answers) will be accurate.
To the extent permitted by law, Octidev is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website. Liability for project work is governed by the contract for that engagement.
We may update these Terms occasionally. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes are resolved by the courts in Dhaka, except where local consumer- protection laws give you a non-waivable right to a different forum.
